I made the mistake of calling this firm to install a ceiling in the basement of my home in Mullica Township. They were extremely quick to come to look at the job, and quick to provide a price and follow up with daily phone calls to get me to sign their contract and give them a deposit. Once that happened, their sense of urgency ceased. It took two weeks of calling to get on the schedule. Finally, once they scheduled me, they cancelled and rescheduled five times. Upon coming to the job, they delivered material, and dropped one worker off at my house. He didn't speak English, seemed confused at what to do. He barely got anything done, and I ended up having to drive him to a bus stop because no one came to pick him up at the end of the first day. The next morning, no one showed up to continue the work. I called their office and was told that the truck broke down, they would be there tomorrow. The next day, no one shows up again. This time the excuse was someone called out sick. At this point, I was getting upset. I explained to the person on the phone that the first day's work didn't seem to get a lot accomplished. The next morning, a supervisor came out, looked at the the progress of the work, and said someone would be by later that morning to continue working on the job. At two o'clock I called the office when no one showed up, and was told that the guys were caught up on another job, and they'd come tomorrow. And oh yeah, by the way, the supervisor felt a change order was in order because of work that needed to be done to accomodate two windows. I told them no change order would be approved because the conditions of the job hadn't changed since they first visited the job. She told me she'd have to get back to me. The supervisor called me the next day and told me that it would be an additional $200 for the work around the windows and ""that's the way it is."" Well, that's all I needed to hear. I called one of their competitors, who was out within 48 hours, and they completed the job. Basically, they got my deposit, did virtually nothing, and tried to cheat me out of more money on a bogus change order. It was an all around bad experience. And oh, by the way, don't try calling for the owner ""Benji."" He doesn't return calls.
