Review content:
I have had some of the best cut my hair in Dallas. Matt Tulley (from Shear Genius and Matthew Tulley Salon), as well as people at the Jose Eber salon in Plano, plus several others well-liked on Citysearch. My hair is the one thing I am normally willing to spend alot of money on. But, the last cut I got at Jose Eber was not what I wanted, the salon acted snooty about the fact that I was upset and didnt like the way it turned out and treated me like dirt (despite my being a faithful customer for years and even taking my daughter there at $100 a pop for a haircut alone). I dont like wasting my money on a cut that I cry over and a salon that acts like they are too good to admit when a client is unhappy and actually handle it or refund the client's $. I even went back to have Jose Eber himself look at it and was told that I had a fantastic cut and should not be so easily upset over something like my hair (can you believe that, coming from such a high-end salon).
Pros: cost-effective, supervised, talented up-and-comers, skilled with texturizing & technique savvy
Cons: Not as quaint/warm as expensive salons
