Businiess name:  Homestead Heating and Air Cond

Review content:
I needed a new furnace which they replaced in what seemed to be a huge hurry. I asked how it was going and the owner's kids said ""not that great"" smirking and laughing. The owner seemed very irritated and acted as if he just wanted to get done with the job as soon as possible. After the furnace was installed I went up into the attic and found it littered with parts from the old furnace and several pvc pipes that were disconnected and not reconnected to the new furnace. I called and the owners son was sent to remove the old parts but he said the disconnected pipes were better left where they were in the attic. Now that we are using the air conditioning, it turns out that one of the vents is blowing hot air and when I called Homestead to inquire about it, the owner got very defensive and said it wasn't their fault. Since we didn't have this problem last year before the furnace was installed it only seems logical to assume that it must have something to do with the installation of the furnace. The least Homestead could have done was offered to look over their work to see if the problem was because of something they did during the installation. My wife said the owner was unfriendly and didn't care to explain himself.
