Review content:
Since moving to California we have had a difficult time finding good chinese food. Most restaurants seem to be more fast-food in style. We found Yen Ching last night for the first time. It was a sit-down atmosphere with and expansive menu. We each tried a beef dish. Although the meat was not of the best quality (I prefer a more steak-like texture to my beef - this beef was tender and a tad rubbery for a lack of a better word), it is still very tasty, the portions big, and vegetable very fresh. All in all, we would try it again. I definitely want to try a chicken dish next. The cream cheese wontons were also very good. The service was very fast and it seemed there was always an employee at our table. We were very happy with the service and intend to go back again.
Pros: Very attentive service. Fresh vegetables. Large portions. Expansive menu.
Cons: Quality of beef.
