Dave's Marine Services guarantees ALL their work so all you would have to do is bring your boat back to us and it would be fixed for no additional charge as you were told on the phone (we are the only commercial boat service company offering warranty). All service is performed in the order it is received, exactly the same way it is done at every other boat dealership and service shop in the area. Dave's has the areas' ONLY Cobra certified service mechanic hence the reason you were told by every other service shop they would not work on your engine and why you really came to Dave's in the first place. We will not repair another mechanic's work after you have been told to bring it back to us and instead chose to go to a competitor, pay him and listen to him reinforce your already negative opinions so he can make money from your ignorance. David is ""factory certified"" and has documentation to prove it. He has formerly been a master shop mechanic at Boat's Unlimited, Chatlee, Eaton's Ferry, Collins and Drydock Marine. Call them yourself and ask. He is very well known and has been operating here for over 20 years. All engine work is performed under a steel building canopy or inside our shop bays and engine jobs are left in those areas until finished so no rain ever entered your boat during the performance of our work but if you still feel otherwise, see you in court. You would be the sixth disappointed customer we have had in five years out of 3,500+...I'll bring the documentation to prove that as well. ""Preventative maintenance"" LOL your engine was blown and we charged you half of market rate. It is amazing how quick you are to try and resolve your problems anonymously on the internet without first contacting the service shop. We would welcome your new mechanic to appear in court with you if that is a better option in your opinion to see this matter resolved. FYI: There are only 32,000 registered boat owners in this area and our shop has performed maintenance on more than ten percent of the market in just five years. What does that tell you about our reputation and abilities?
