Review content:
With Fullerton being a college town, it's easy to find yourself in a bar full of young OC types who are just trying to one-up each other on trendyness. The Kettle & the Keg is refreshingly different. They have hookahs, which is a cool addition to their outdoor patio. It's been a bit different every time I've been there, sometimes with live music, or karaoke, or a dj spinning cool music, or even movies being projected on the wall. Prices are reasonable for beer. As far as I know they don't have their liquor license yet, but I keep hearing it's in the works. Doesn't make much difference to me, as I'm a beer girl myself anyway. Definitely worth checking out, especially if you want someplace to just chill with friends without all the hassle the other bars in the area can have.
Pros: Comfortable, down to earth.
Cons: No liquor license.
