Review content:
Please take this advice from someone who has had many experiences with many dentists since very young and 27 years later is still absolutely terrified of the dentist, Dr Stephen Meyer is hands down thee best dentist I have ever been treated by. After suffering from severe mouth trauma, including loss of 2.5 teeth,12 total stitches in both lips which ended up getting very infected due to the ER's negligence,a deviated septum, and mass amounts of facial swelling resulting from falling asleep behind the wheel and smashing my face into my steering wheel, I was promptly, kindly, and gently cared for by Dr. Meyer. He and his daughter came into the office on his day off, a Sunday nonetheless, and although I was in deep pain and rather difficult to evaluate, Dr. Meyer thoroughly answered all my questions and reassured me my smile could be saved all without causing me any further trauma or pain. Thankfully Dr. Meyer realized I had a terrible infection at the site of stitches (only after 1.5 days of leaving ER) and quickly prescribed me an antibiotic to save myself more visits to doctors and hospitals. At this time I was not covered by insurance and he offered me a very reasonable rate for the visit and explained we could work on a budget for the future work as it would require a large amount of cosmetic repair. I am for once in my life looking forward to going back to the dentist! This is something I never once imagined feeling!!! Besides having a beyond friendly staff, an impeccably clean office, and the gentlest hand ever, Dr. Meyer was so warm and genuinely concerned for my well being. That is a trait I was beginning to feel most health professionals had forgotten, until now. Dr Meyer even made the effort to contact me via voice mail just to check up on me even though he was aware I would not be ready for work for at least another 3-4 weeks. I know this review is lengthy but if your someone like me who will avoid the dentist at all costs and even put yourself through pain and suffering because you think it will hurt less than the average dentist touching you... you can and will appreciate a visit to Dr. Meyer's office :) Goodluck!!
