Review content:
Mid-America Collision was the company recommended to me by my insurance company (Liberty Mutual) for my hail damage repairs. I was fine with their recomendation and later found out that Mid-America Collision did not complete the repairs. They had sub-contracted out the work to a paintless dent vendor (Dents Express). This would be fine but I'm one who believes that a company that sub-contracts out work should be held responsible for maintaining the quality of their own work through that contracted company. Anyway the hail damage repairs of my vehicle appear completed but when I returned home I saw something sticking out the right side of my hood. When I opened the hood it was the heat shield that should be mounted on the under side of the hood sitting loose on my engine. I also found a shop towel and one tool (no idea if there were other tools that had fallen through the motor on my way home). Needless to say I would steer clear of Mid-America (for not validating the work done by the contracted company) and Dents Express (for obvious reasons listed above). If you do plan on doing business with either of these folks I hope your experience is better than my own. Oh...Also I didn't not receive any kind of apology or rebate for the lack of quality work done by either of these businesses.
