Review content:
My grandmother lived at Walden Oaks for six years. During that time, I personally experienced maintenance men simply walking right into her apartment without knocking or announcing themselves. I saw filth, stains, leaks in the common places. The smell was overwhelming and foul. There was never any parking and the lot was dimly lit. It always felt unsafe. Most unnerving is the staff. They are rude, uncaring, and ill-equipped to be in property management. On the day my grandmother died, I received a call from my mother to rush over b/c the family priest was giving grandma her last rites. Once I arrived, I found no parking - as usual. So I parked in the circle drive with my hazards on - I left plenty of space for an emergency vehicle or Pace bus. When I was leaving, the young lady in the office - WHOM KNEW OF THE SITUATION - ""scolded"" me about parking there. Can you imagine my disbelief? As if parking was a concern of mine at that particular time. She didn't offer condolences nor appear sympathetic, rather, she was rude about parking in the circle drive. A possible tow ticket was unimportant to me at that time. This place is miserable and so is its staff. Beware!
