Review content:
We're currently finishing production on a website designed and built by CL Graphics. The finished product is average, but the process to get where we are today was a long, unprofessional, uncoordinated road that I never wish to relive. We chose the company based off a recommendation from a consultant, and I had hesitations from the beginning because they seem to be more of a print communications and design company. For all I know, they are great at that end of the business but I would not recommend working with them on any online design or website work. I don't hold any personal grudges against any of the staff, but I do feel like this simple request-- an easy to use CMS, branded with our colors and logo, with intuitive functionality, was too much for them to accommodate. They did produce a site for us similar to what was requested, but it seemed like they were learning how to do it on our dime, had a difficult time communicating problems and solutions, and from start to finish (minus a few weeks in the middle where we contemplated ending the project prematurely) the whole experiment lasted over five months. On the whole, terrible service, and I'm still surprised they charged us the full project price after all the mistakes they made. Great learning experience, I hope others don't make the same mistake we did...
