Rented the clubhouse for our wedding reception..Was a last minute decision and a big mistake..The $75 rental fee was fair and we only had a group of 15, so the place seemed as it would be fine. 1st issue: the place was not clean day of entry and the seating was not cleaned as promised it would be..Second: Upon inspecting the kitchen area there were mice droppings everywhere, unsanitary and gross, but for $75 we could make it happen, I have hands so I cleaned up to make it sanitary and appropriate for food to be placed..The reception went well and the guest stayed and helped tidy up and w/in 3 hrs we were outta there..We left the clubhouse in as good of condition as we recv'd it in..2 days later we recv'd email saying they were keeping our $75 deposit because they found a few chips and crumbs on floor and all the trash bins (in bathroom) were not emptied..Haha, we were never provided w/ stipulations that we were to vacuum, clean all trash bins in order to rec'v our deposit back.. What a joke, I mean don't you think we would have took an extra 10 mins to do that had we known? We were also never given a chance to rectify matter, our deposit had been cashed and then we were informed they were keepin it..I mean you would have thought the place was trashed by Aerosmith or something the way they made it sound..A suggestion is to take that $75 and invest in new management and make copies of rental agreements to give out so that anyone who stupidly decides to rent from you will know what to expect..Thanks for giving us our 1st bad memory as a married couple!!
