Review content:
I visited with my best friend for some catching up time. We had a glass of wine at the bar during the short wait for a table. The restaurant was full but we were seated quickly. The bar is really cramped which is a shame because it's a lovely space to have a drink after work. I really enjoy the overall atmosphere, it's a large space but feels warm and cozy at the same time. I also appreciate being able to hear the people at my table and speak in a normal volume even when the restaurant is full to the brim. We shared several appetizers: goat cheese fondue, scallops, albacore & romaine salad. Everything tasted wonderful, I would have appreciated a bit more albacore, the amount we got was minuscule. We ended the night sharing a piece of the infamous Coconut Creme Pie. I would go back over and over if only for that. Always satisfied after a visit to Palace and always looking for a reason to go back.
Pros: Service, atmosphere, coconut cream pie, olive oil
Cons: cramped bar seating
