Review content:
This was by far the worst experience I have ever had buying a vehicle. My husband and I were in the market for a full size truck. After months of doing our research we found a 2005 Dodge Ram on the North Cascade Ford website. We reviewed the carfax report and made an appointment to go to the dealer on a wednesday afternoon to miss the weekend traffic. We reached the dealer at about 4:30 pm and test drove the vehicle. Everything looked fine to us and we really liked the truck! Though the check engine light was on and we mentioned this to the salesman. He said he would have the mechanic fix it while we talked contract. we agreed on a price and the sales man stated that he fixed the check engine issue (we had a paid off 2007 jeep patriot to trade) at about 5:30. This is when it started to go down hill. apparently another couple had agreed on a vehicle about 5 minutes before us. Which is fine. This wasn't expressed to us. We were told ""only a few more minutes"". Mind you we also have our 18 month old daughter with us. FINALLY at 8:00 we finally are sitting down at the finance guy's desk. And he says he has to ""look over our paperwork'??????? I was not pleased. amazingly his fingers got typing pretty quickly after I let him know my displeasure with his business. I might want add as well that a ""Bed Cap"" was agreed upon and written into our contract due to some scuffs and marks. 8:30 we finally are getting out of there and on our way back to seattle. 1 week later the check engine light comes on. We call the dealer and let them know this is happening and they give us the run around. after about two weeks of going back and forth with them my husband confronts the sales man and asks if he just reset the computer when we purchased the vehicle. AND HE ADMITS IT!!!! fine what ever. So they tell us to go purchase a new gas cap from a dodge dealer and send the receipt for repayment. done and sent. We have yet to receive a repayment. Though the engine light hasn't been back on but this should have been taken care of to begin with. When my husband contacted the General Manager via email about the bed cap he stated that it was sitting in the shop and doesn't know why it wasn't sent to us?!?! SOoooo the other day we get a ""TAIL CAP"" in the mail. not a BED CAP. My husband tried to contact them again to see what we are to do and they now refuse to answer our inquiries. I have contacted the BBB now and will be taking them to small claims court if this is not resolved. Be warned about this Dealer!!!
