Businiess name:  Bucky's Muffler & Brakes

Review content:
I had an issue with my brakes the other day. There was a grinding noise coming from my front tires. I took it to Bucky's and had them look at it. They told me that my breaks where bad in the front (which they were and they showed me). There was no pad on the front left break. So I knew they needed to be worked on. I asked for a quote and the total came to about $650.00. I almost died. That was for replacing the pads, rotor, and calipers. I called a couple acquaintances and asked them for there advice. Both told me that it was wrong. I have an '04 Impala and they said I should not need calipers already. I asked them to put my car back together that I would be getting a second opinion. The guy at the counter tried to convince me that I really needed those parts, but I again requested they put it back together for me. While waiting for my car the guy at the counter told me that if I wanted to have them do it for cheaper that I did not have to do the calipers... THAN WHY DID THEY QUOTE ME THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!! So I took my car home and had one of my friends come over to help me change the pads and rotor myself (it was actually really easy to do we had it done in an hour and I had never done breaks before). The total retail cost of my parts was $160.00 from Shucks and I paid my friend $100.00 for the hour of work he helped me with my car. Total cost $260.00 and Bucky wanted $650.00 for more work than what was needed.
