Review content:
Had this company install a basic alarm system in my house when it was built. At the time, I chose not to sign up for monitoring. Now its 7 years later and I found a company that will do the monitoring for $9 per month. However they are not able to setup my system because Rimi locked it with their installer code. So I called to get that code and was told that they don't give that number out for security reasons. I then asked if they would send someone out and change it for me so they don't have to give me that code. They said no. They will not change the code even if I pay for the service call. When I insisted they said they would call me back, they didn't. When I called them again, they said I could either replace my system or pay them $30 per month for monitoring. So essentially they are holding me for ransom. Why do business with a company like this when there are so many others?
