First off, when me moved in in 2004 it was worth the price of $780/month for a 2 bedroom & 1 & 1/2 bathroom unit. Now, some 5 years later.... and at nearly $1200/month the problems that were originally just eyesores are now an inexcusable pain in the butt. The carpets are dirt cheap. They never washed the walls before they painted them so we have flies, hair, and other debris under the paint. Also, they painted over the grease around the stove so all that paint peeled off. The vanity in the upstairs bathroom is falling apart. The kitchen is a dump in general. The cabinets and drawers are beyond trash. They terrible. We couldn't get them clean enough to put stuff in and they wouldn't replace them. We wallpapered the insides of all of them. At least half of our electrical outlets either don't work or are so flimsy (not anchored to a wall stud) that they hang loose in the drywall so we don't use them. For 5 years we've tried to get them fixed. Also, they painted over all of the vents so you can't open or close them. All of said vents had dust on them so.... you guessed it... they painted over that, too! I had to practically rebuild the inside of the dishwasher. I've replaced the guts on both toilet tanks on my own dime. Why? Because maintenance is essentially useless. Not because they're stupid, though. I just think they've got to much red tape to go through to fix even the easiest stuff. The front office is completely useless. Half the time I call over, nobody answers. The current management has let the complex become overrun the the most ignorant retards you could ever imagine. It's become unliveable, which is why we are getting the 'F' out of here and getting a house. 5 years, my friends. You might look at the pictures of this place on the Morgan Properties website and think it looks nice. Let me tell you what's really going on outside. All of the hedges and bushes are overgrown and most of the grass area is composed of dead grass or crab grass and weeds. People let their dogs poo everywhere. If it weren't for one older gentleman that cleans it up so his OWN dogs can poo, the fenceline would be a wasteland of feces. People leave furniture in or by the dumpsters and the trashmen don't pick it up so it just piles up until maintenance has to take it to the dump. Anyhow, I think you get the general idea. Happy apartment hunting! Pros: nothing Cons: everything
