Review content:
I went to Planet Salon with my friend for her input to receive a haircut and color, I brought pictures of the exact shade and style I wanted. I made an appointment with Sarah Allen to do both my color and cut. Sarah told me that I could not receive the color I wanted because she did not know how to mix the formula. She said that the color would be a little darker, which was fine, however, I asked for a single color process which is uniform color all over, the price for this is $63 for her hairstylist level. She brought out foils and said that it would be a two step process but did not explain anything else. Several times my friend questioned about the issues because she knew I felt shy, and both stylists ignored her questioning and did whatever they wanted to my hair. So I assumed that she knows what she's doing because she made a point to emphasize that she had been there for eight years. She never said she was doing highlights but that's what I got and not what I wanted, especially since the price for full highlights is $83 a $20 difference. I was charged for a full highlight and received a partial which is priced at $73. The underneath of my hair is still my natural color with no dye and I have had full highlights several times before and the underneath was always done this time I only got the top highlighted and when I asked about this the receptionist told me that she would go ask Sarah about this problem. When she came back she said I was charged a full highlight because their policy states that if at least 30 foils are used then it is a full highlight, this has never happened to me before, anytime I have ever paid for a full highlight I have gotten the underneath done. So not only was I upset about this problem, but before I had even went to pay, Sarah said that she had run out of time for my appointment and did not want to lose money from her next customers and that she was going to let another girl cut my hair. She assured me that the girl who would cut my hair was on the same level as her after I made my point that I wanted a higher status hairdresser....city search won't let me write anymore read my 2nd review!
Pros: Stacia, but she's gone now. :(
Cons: Irresponsible stylists, bad attitudes, horrible owner.
