I had passed Cafe Connection several SEVERAL times since it opened 5 years ago in my hometown. I'd never even really through the windows when I would walk by. I thought it was just another ""downtown"" establishment -- kinda dinky and not really worth waking up super-early to get to before work (since it closes at 3:30).
BOY WAS I WRONG!
Oh my goodness. How lovely of a cafe! I went here TODAY for the very first time (I've been up all night long doing some class projects and decided I should probably stop for breakfast) and was pleasantly surprised. It's very clean, stylish, and best of all - smells of deliciousness. The chalkboard menus boast of wraps, and salads, and sandwiches, and oooooh bagels. Even better: BAGEL SANDWICHES.
I chose the Bagel Spread on a Jalapeno bagel. EFFING GREAT. The bagel had just enough kick for me to appreciate the peppa. The jalapeno blended so well with the cream cheese, bacon, and tomatoes. Heaven. Wash it all down with a piping hot Chai tea and I. Am. Golden.
(Seriously. I'm consuming the food and beverage as I type. I swear I'm glowing with delight. For real.)
Pros: Clean and modern, friendly, fresh and delicious
Cons: Only open until 3:30pm weekdays and 1:00pm Saturdays
