Review content:
My wife and I went for our first Anniversary. Midtown was special because it was where we had our first nice dinner while we were dating and where we celebrated our engagement with our families. Things have changed since then. I had the Veal Piccata and there was no flavor at all. I think they left the lemon juice or white wine out, because it was very bland. My wife enjoyed her Veal Oscar, but thought the veal was overcooked. When the server asked if I wanted a box, I told him that I did not enjoy it and it was bland. He response was ""ok"" do you want a desert menu. That was it, no apology. The other thing that I didn't like was the party of six they sat right next to us while the rest of the restaurant sat empty. As we left, our server, the host, and another server stood by the door and didn't acknowledge us even being there. Things have changed so much since we were there last, and not for the better.
