Review content:
My husband and I decided to visit Midtown for our 1 year anniversary. We've been to Sunset Grill before and loved it, so we decided that since Midtown is their sister company, it must also be good.... at best it's just fine. We got there and the greeter was very nice, even knew that it was our anniversary, and gave us a good seat in the back. The waitress was nice, of course, but not knowledgeable of the menu. I suppose we are a little spoiled, having visited Napa Valley on our honeymoon *which you MUST GO if you've never been - it has the best food, the best service, and the best wine!* Anyway, the food is very overpriced for the quality. We did not see any appetizers that sounded good, so my husband decided to get the pork tenderloin and I settled on the scallops. Wow - I can't stress enough how BAD the tenderloin was. It tasted like propane and carbon. It was really awful and we didn't feel the least bad about sending it back. We ended up sharing my scallops, which you only get 4 for about $30 with (I kid you not) my 9 year old sister's maccaroni and white cheese with really dry pieces of lobster in it. But we ate it. Didn't stay for desert.
Pros: Nice greeter / Valet parking
Cons: Food / Server Knowledge
