Darlene did a fabulous job on altering my wedding dress! I shopped around for a while using different wedding forum recommendations on where to have a bridal gown altered- and it looks like many of the places listed had gone out of business. I gave Simply Sewing (who hems all my pants) a call to see if she had worked on formal gowns/bridal attire before, and she said she had and could help me out. Yay! (I wasn't pleased with the idea of having DB or another bridal salon working on it because they charge an arm and a leg simply because they can!) She did a great job on changing each layer on my tiered dress to match the other- since I needed it shortened quite a bit, and took it in on the top/sides. I couldn't have been more happy with the outcome- and the price was exceptional! Wedding Day here I come. -oh, and I didn't have to wait months like you see in the movies! The finished product (w/ one fitting in between) only too a few weeks. -I'd recommend her in a heart beat!
