During the week of October 23rd I received a flyer in the mail regarding a Mazda, Mazda 6 buy back program stating ""We would like to restock our preowned inventory and need your 2005 Mazda 6. FOR THIS EVENT ONLY, our acquisitions department at Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Franklin is preparing to offer you a trade-in value of up to $3,500 ABOVE THE REGIONAL MARKET VALUE stated by black book, a leading source of national vehicle values."" Underneath it listed ""Offer for your 2005 Mazda 6 is $11,890"". This event lasted 4 days from October 27th-30th. I visited them on Saturday, October 29th, 2011 to trade in my car for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. At that time they informed me it was getting serviced and I could not drive the car until Monday. They told me they would offer $8,550 for my Mazda 6. At that time I showed them the $3,500 trade in voucher and the manager, Tom Murray said he would honor it on Monday when the service department came back and I could drive the car. This would mean that my car was worth $12,050 for this special long weekend buy back event. Today, October 31, 2011, they called me after they had finished cleaning up the car and finally had access to the keys and told me they were listing the car for $10,995 with ""wiggle room"". I told them we had a deal as long as it drove okay. I made sure they were still honoring the voucher and we were on the same page and I was told yes. And, of course it would be, since it is in writing on their flyer. They would owe me a difference of $1,055. After I drove the car and handed them my $3,500 voucher, the manager Tom Murray would not honor it and on top of that raised the car I was wanting to trade in for's price to $12,000. He stated he would not honor my voucher that was clearly spelled out and it was a non-negotiable trade assistance voucher for $3,500. It was a complete bait and switch, full of lies and deceiving. The flyer stated they would buy my car for $11,890 and if it was in excellent condition it would be more, hence the $12,050 for my car. This was an advertisement to buy back Mazda
