Very disappointed with the customer service or the lack of customer service. MY boyfriend decided that he would do something beyond sweet and go to the BCBG Max Azria store at the newly rebuilt Tanger Outlet 1 in Bluffton, SC. He was trying to buy a dress that I saw while looking around a few days earlier. When he went in a pleasant young lady that he had me speak with assisted him. I described the dress to her that I wanted and she said I know exactly what you want. (Dress that ties on the arm) Since he thought she knew what I wanted he took her word for it and purchased the dress. She told him that if it was not the dress I wanted I would be able to bring it back and exchange it for the dress that I really wanted. He was sold a dress for $238 and the dress that I wanted was around $115. When I went into the store with the receipt in hand I was told that I could not exchange it for anything but the same dress, different size. I was not looking for a refund and would have simply gotten more merchandise to cover the $238. I called the store later that day for the district manager?s number and was given the wrong number. Not at all happy with the lack of compassion the store manager showed. She will quickly learn after the tourists have left the area for the season, she will have to rely on the support of local shoppers like myself.
