My bad.
I read the Citysearch reviews but decided to use Party Patch for my niece's wedding, anyway. They were unfriendly and acted like I was taking too much of their time, red flags, I should have left but I had already taken the afternoon off (because their hours are strictly business).
I had comparison shopped and found them to be comparable on most of the items, however, they insert a fee on linens called a ""damage waiver"". Well it's not - because they keep the money whether there is damage or not and it is a hefty 10% charge!
I called other rental companies and they do not have this hidden charge, in fact, one company said: ""That's just another name for a cleaning charge and why would a person rent linens and return them unused, that's the only way Party Patch would have refunded your money.""
I've learned, I'll be taking to heart Citysearch reviews after my costly mistake.
Pros: Good selection
Cons: Unfriendly staff, hidden charges
