Review content:
I hired Miller & Company to build my house. Miller & Company's loan officer, Ross Bottomly, encouraged me to get a second home loan to finance the house which was to be an investment. Obviously, this is fraud. The project was mismanaged virtually from day one. Greg Barber, the general contractor promised the house to be finished in 6 to 8 months. One and a half years after we signed the contract, after many unfulfilled promises, and many missed deadlines, the four-way inspection still had not been done. By this time my loan was severely depleted, and my bank began threatening foreclosure. This forced me to leave my business to commit full time to the project. After wasting time and money, Greg basically walked away from the project. Leaving it up to me to finish the house. I hired and managed subcontractors, and did much of the work myself. He still came around, but at times, weeks or months passed when he did little or nothing. It took 2 years to finish the house and went more than $100K over budget. Stay away from Kyle Miller and Miller & Co.
