Review content:
I just visited Hopper's after a long time away and I must say that it is a great place to sit down and have a meal and a few beverages. I think I counted 9 different beers of all varieties, all made on site. Perfectly sized menu. Back in the day, I used to stick to the blackened fish tacos or a bowl of chowder, but I am going to have to go back and be more adventurous because the philly cheese steak was awesome. Location is great as it is right off of I-215. The pubs near the canyon are too crowded and it is something special to enjoy a beer made in the same building. FYI- Utah beers are 4.0% by volume, as opposed to 4.5-5.5% in most places. You can also buy full strength beers by the bottle in almost all Utah Breweries including Hoppers. I don't recall bad service in the past and today's was excellent. If I had to come up with a criticism it would be that their salad menu is not that well rounded out and a patio would be nice in the summer. Overall, I would give this place a 9.5 especially if you are recovering from a day on the slopes. Pros: Perfect Pub Menu Cons: No Patio for summer dining
