Review content:
So, let's get this out there right away. Yes, this is a converted apartment building. Yes, it is in a residential neighborhood. No, this is not a luxury 5 star hotel. Yes, this might be one of the best places to stay in LA at the right price!
We stayed at Le Montrose as an anniversary weekend in LA. We live in LA, so we got the friendly neighbor rate. We paid less than $200 for a King Suite. For the price we paid, we could not be happier! The room was clean, and all of the amenities were very nice. Of course, I loved the huge makeup mirror and section near the bathroom. Any woman would! The hotel has been recently renovated, so everything seemed new and fresh- even the elevators with their leather interior decor impressed.
So, if you get a good price, then I definitely recommend Le Montrose. It's a very very cute hotel, with a great little salt water pool on the roof. I highly recommend for a stay in LA! The best part about it being in a residential neighborhood is that its quiet during the day and night as well.
