I'm a stay at home mom to a wonderful baby boy and am looking to give back to my community of Redmond. I was initially very excited to find this organization as they were close to my home as well as they were involved in helping a demographic that I felt passionate to help as well. I turned in my volunteer application and was contacted via email right away to set up a meeting time. I gave my dates of availability but never heard back, dispite the three follow up emails I sent and one phone call. I'm very disappointed with the lack of follow through and courtesy. I know I am an ideal volunteer as I have volunteered for YWCA, habitat for humanity and have no criminal background what-so-ever. I'm now volunteering for hope link and am excited to make my contribution there. It makes me sad when I know of organization who's mission is so great but their leadership is lacking. Hopefully they can turn things around.
