Mikado Restaurant

Review content:
Mikado is not a high class sushi restaurant, which is exactly what makes it so desirable. The authenticity of Mikado is unprecedented, similar to that which would be seen in current Eastern cultures. Most American sushi restaurants attempt to trick the customer with over-priced fish and an overtly eloquent surrounding, but Mikado has succeeded in presenting traditional Japanese cuisine at a reasonable price. The restaurant itself is relatively small with a few booths and tables and a sushi bar which seats about fifteen customers. The small surrounding gives the restaurant a relaxed feeling that is uncommon in most high-class sushi restaurants. With a small indoor decorative fountain, flat-screen television, and modern music playing throughout the restaurant, Mikado has an incredibly comfortable and consumer-friendly atmosphere. Mikado is a great place to bring friends or to have a small business meeting during lunch. There are only a few chefs and waitresses, but for good reason. The family-like staff works well together and is reliably efficient. When walking in, the customer chooses their own seat and is quickly brought a menu which contains many variations on original sushi rolls.
