I was surprised by the number of negative reviews for this very nice restaurant. But I only recently discovered the Fireplace, and they may have taken the criticisms to heart and worked out the glitches. My 4 dining experiences were all very good. I was seated promptly, the waitstaff was friendly and the food was all of very good - not quite Spire or Oleana, but still noteworthy. I highly recommend the roasted chicken. It is the best that I have ever tasted. But what I like most of all- besides the good food- is the comfortable atmosphere, and the acoustics are great. You can actually hear everyone at the table! One small note that doesn't bother me in the least, but is good to be aware of, is that the portions are huge. I am getting hungry thinking about my next visit to the Fireplace. Enjoy!
