Review content:
had heard great things about lucque's, but beyond the ambience i was not that impressed. we tried everything our server reccommended-- the summer squash soup and barnade toast to start and the shortribs and the salmon as our main course. The summer squash soup was merely adequate, and the barnade toast tasted like a poor man's open-faced day old tuna fish sandwich. The salmon was drenched with a sort of sour cream like substance-- the resulting concoction was a soggy waste of what otherwise looked like a fine cut of salmon. The shortribs may prove to have a cathartic effect on the soul, but bring your pacemaker with you-- these may be a tough test for those already clogged arteries of yours. The only highlight was the desert-- a delicious sundae-like refreshment served with burnt chocolate wafers.
Pros: fireplace dining, waitstaff
Cons: greasy food, expensive
