I think my previous dentist needed a boat payment or something, because I went in for a regular check-up and left, an hour later, with a sore mouth; a new, awkward-feeling filling; and a sensitivity to cold liquids that was absolutely unbearable. Eventually, the soreness went away and I learned to eat and drink with just one side of my mouth. But that sensitivity to cold was awful. I?d be sitting in the sun, enjoying a cold beverage, and ZAP! I?d forget to avoid the right side of my mouth and was instantly in pain. So, when I first came to Dr. Chan it was with a fair bit of discomfort and a great deal of distrust of dentists. But in a single visit he cured me of both and I?ve been going to Dr. Chan ever since. I recommended him to everyone I know in the Sacramento area. His staff is friendly and competent and he is extremely professional - every visit has been thorough and painless. Now, even though I?ve moved and his office is several miles away, there?s no chance that I?d consider any other dentist. Dr. Chan is worth the drive.
