Review content:
I'm writing to detail my experience with Newpro Windows as it is similar to some I've read here. My wife and I had them out for a sales consultation to get an estimate on 13 windows. The salesman was very personable and you could tell he was trying to make a connection to us. My wife and I are (or have been) in sales so we weren't falling for all the phony stuff. Anyway, we sat through the two hour presentation where he built up his company and product while also tearing down any other products that would dare to compete. He came in at 10am and we told him that we had another appointment at noon. So, after just trying to get a price out of him, we had to rush him along at 11:45. First he quoted $22,500 for 13 windows. Then, of course, when that was obviously too high, he came down to about $18,500. Still too high, so he offered to do the bull---t call to his boss and knock some more off but that would only be good if we signed that day. It was actually funny to see him go through all these steps just as I had read that he would. Finally when the other contractor arrived on time at noon, we told the Newpro guy we would review our options and call him if we decided to go with his company. Then, the niceness went out the window. He actually bet me $10K that I wouldn't call him and also complained about his gas money to come to our house. Not my problem...
