I am from Washington State and came down to the Hayward/Fremont area for the holiday weekend, with my 2 1/2 year old granddaugther. My mother needed a few repairs on her jewelry and I went to Gemnbead to get several items that I needed. We walked in and two ladies that work there were standing and just watching me. I did tell them that I needed sterling findings. They simply pointed me to the area. (not very helpful) but as I was picking out several findings (clasps, jump rings etc) my granddaugther tells me that she has to go peepee. Poor thing....she's about 90% potty trained and well, needless to say I asked the two women working at the store if we could please use their toilet. The women paused, looked at each other then one of them said to me....""it's out of order"". I'm sorry, but I wasn't a homeless person off the street asking for a toilet. I had a 2 yr. old squeezing her legs together, asking for a toilet. Personally I feel that these two ladies had a very good opportunity to show a bit of human consideration and passion and they seriously missed the mark. I was truly disappointed and if you think for one minute I believe their story of an out of order toilet....you are sadly mistaken. How sad! And PATHETIC! I had money to spend at their store and needless to say I put the items down that I had collected up to that point and went in search of a toilet for my granddaugther. I am on my dad's computer now, in search of another bead store in the area. I would rather drive 50 miles to a business that treats their customers better, then to ever...ever spend 1 cent in Gemnbeads. PLEASE think twice before giving them your business. Shame on the two asian women that work at Gemnbeads for their serious lack of human consideration towards at 2 yr old desparate to not pee her pants.
