I am 100% loyal to Modern Hardware for my painting needs. They always mix the paint quickly and are very helpful in paint and tool selection. The owner is a wonderfully kind businessman who frequently gives me a discount on Benjamin Moore Samples when I come the counter with my usual armful. Once I ordered a gallon of the wrong shade of blue and when I realized my error and went back to buy the right one, the owner sold me the new gallon at 1/2 price, even though it was my mistake. He also helped me pick out the right hardware to rewire some old lamps I bought off of Ebay when he could have just as easily let me bring them in for rewiring at a greater profit to the store. This is the epitome of a great independent business.
Pros: easy parking, open Sundays, great staff, Benjamin Moore products
