Full disclosure: I live nearby.
But I love going here. I know the owner and most of the people who work there and they know my name and keep me informed of stuff they think I'll like. They know I'm a fan of stouts, cool wine labels, and red bell peppers so they give me the head nod when I walk in.
It's a great place to get your produce because it's local and organic and really no more expensive than Safeway (their main competition 3 blocks away). The $1 day-old bread bin is good early in the day and they almost always have homemade pre-made daily fresh meals ready (if you get there early enough).
It's a small store, but I like having less options than a big grocery store because it really cuts down on my deciding time.
I'm a fan and I love that I can support a local family-owned business (you'll see the kids of the owners there).
