Review content:
After a week of classroom, my son had his road hours. During his ""hour"" he stopped for the driving teacher to yell at her son as she saw him out on his bike, picked up a pizza for her dinner, told us nightly of her personal calls while he was driving..and maybe a couple of times actually drove an hour. My son had ha his permit for 1 1/2 yrs and the first one had been ruined in the wash so he laminated the 2nd. Noone said anything about that at all. the day before he was to go on the road test we went to prepay his licence and all the man at the dmv said was ""good luck with that"" if he said then - you need to get a new one..the officer wont be able to stamp this or whatever..I would have!! no, they pick him up at 8 a.m and i watch as my son is ridiculed in front of a car of kids about the laminate and after 10 minutes at least he walks back in the house..can't do it today. This wasn't his fault. i think for the amount of money it costs for this dumpy room and pleasant babysitters, they would at least check everything for him before this day and help him to have things in order? I don't know alternatives, and maybe they're all the same, but if that's true~We should really be looking into how our children are learning about one of the most important steps they take.getting behind a wheel! In my case my child has driven with his permit for over a year and had extensive experience in all conditions and all roads, but i was surprised to see that most of the others were just at the age and jumping right into this school with little or no experience in driving . With nothing more than what Tanner gives, The road is a scarey place .
Cons: the room where they spend the week in class is a mess and smells
