My sister and her boyfriend came in from Colorado, and I wanted to treat them out to a truly unique experience, so I chose to take them to Salo Salo. This is probably one the best places to take 1st timers from CO because of the clean, contemporary, and welcoming atmoshpere combined with really good service make this the ideal choice for locals and out-of-towners. But the #1 reason is the food! I ordered the assorted Grill platter and a platter of ""Sizzling Sisig"" although it's not prepared the typical way with the traditional ingredients of pigs ear, liver, and misc. pig pieces, it probably has a larger appeal for Filipino food novices. The only negative is that my sister and her boyfriend now WISH Salo Salo was also located in CO!!
Pros: Clean Atmosphere, Large Portions, Great Value
Cons: No CO location
