Review content:
We had been waiting a long time to eat here, this was our 3rd try at a reservation that wasn't 10p.m. or later - and we were calling 3-4 weeks in advance. I was initially disappointed when I saw the menu; in addition to a handful of ingredients that were a mystery, nothing seemed to jump out and grab us. Knowing their reputation though, we figured everything would taste great. The food was incredible (really enjoyed the meatball in broth) and the wine list had too many options for our own good. The tables are rather close together, don't count on an intimate conversation. This restaurant is consistently rated as the top place in Denver/Boulder. While we had a great evening here, being from the southern metro area I cannot say we would go out of our way to return here. I would rather return to other places in Denver (like Mizuna/Luca D'Italia, Zengo,Rioja or Highland Gardens)
Pros: unusal food combinations, wine list
Cons: noisy, cramped and idifficult to get a decent reservation
