Review content:
I sat in the teenage section while my child looked for books. She came back to me after choosing each book. She told me she was going to ask a librarian for help in finding a book and I thought this would be a good learning experience. Mistake, the librarian helped her but then told her even though I was sitting in the adjacent area she would have to have me with her since she was only 8 (10 required). When I asked the librarian about it she explained with a straight face that it was because of fears of child abductions. This fear didn?t happen during the first hour my child looked for a book it popped up when she asked the librarian for help.
