Review content:
We ate at Burton's for the first time 3 weeks ago in the Hilltop area of virginia beach. We were very surprised by the friendliness of the staff and helpfulness of the part time hostess( who happened to be the owner's wife:)). The service was prompt and the menu was not extensive, but well planned. There is something here for everyone. The bar staff was friendly as well. You should have no problem getting a table on weekdays, but be sure to call ahead on weekends. The food was tasteful and they always make sure you get your veggies( Broccoli came with every entree our party ordered). My crab cakes were the best i've ever had, and the portions were perfect, you will be full without having to take home any leftovers. The desert was the best of all, you MUST try the key lime pie.. you will never go back to anything else.
