Review content:
I recently became a loyal-for-life customer of Ames Cleaners. Knowing that my father-in-law was quickly becoming ill, I took my husband's dress blues to Ames so that they would be clean for the impending funeral. The evening after I dropped off his uniform, my husband's family called and told us that we needed to drive to Kentucky right away because his father would not make it through the night. Ames was closed for the evening, so we had to leave without the uniform. My husband's military service has always been a great source of pride for my father-in-law, so it was imperative that I somehow get his uniform to Kentucky. The following morning, I spoke to owner Joe Ames on the telephone. Not only was he genuinely sympathetic and courteous, Mr. Ames overnighted my husband's spotless uniform to Kentucky FREE OF CHARGE. With my faith in humanity renewed, I returned to Virginia after the funeral and now my mission is to let everyone know what a wonder thing Ames Cleaners did for my husband. Pros: Spectacular, personal customer service
