Review content:
G's is a very good classic ""family"" restaurant. Two wide-open, light-flooded rooms, with a raised platform area toward the back, plenty of window seating, large tables and just enough homey touches to make it feel a little personal. Great for breakfast and a surprisingly good lunch menu. Quite a few steps above a diner there are diverse choices (greek-, italian-, latin-influenced sandwiches, salads and entrees) but not so many that you think everything was prepared in some commissary. It's a pleasure to sit just behind the seasonally hand-painted window, watching the town go by surrounded by oh-so-pretty Warwickians! The owner/host/cashier are a bit brusk and, though not exactly like short-order, the service is attentive.
Pros: Good all-purpose menu with a twist, pleasant and unpretentious, great street location
Cons: Can feel a bit hectic; large, open rooms offer no cozy corners
