Be careful with this contractor. Will hire sub-contractors to do your work. Would not recommend this contractor for custom built-in cabinets. MDF was used for building after discussing use of a more high quality poplar hardwood. Doors were contructed from what appears to be plywood (unusually heavy in wt). Upon installation, cracks stretching almost 1 inch in length were visible both above and below door hinges (prior to paint). A sub-contractor hired by Mr. Segreto initially caulked over cracks as quick fix, then had chosen not to take further action when cracks resurfaced some time following final payment. Cabinet now moves when opening and closing the unusually heavy plywood doors. Had offered to fix cracks upon reporting to Better Business Bureau instead of replacing cracked wood with quality material. I figured this was the least he could do for charging me $3500 dollars. Mr. Segreto's offer was declined, and instead, I will now need to consult with a different contractor specializing in built-ins and replace with higher quality material.
