I must express my surprise at the negative reviews I found here! They are certainly not in keeping with my experience with Rick Johnson Auto & Tire. I am one of your winter residents. When I had a problem with my car I didn't know where to take it so I depended on the advise of my friends who are both year round as well winter residents like me. The one company I heard the most recommendations about was Rick Johnson Auto & Tire. I should mention that I am a female and very independant. My husband takes car of his cars and I take care of mine. I've had a lot of experience with auto repair people who treat me as if I know nothing for my entire life. I've learned where I can go and not get the 'dumb blonde' treatment. Upon arriving at Rick Johnson Auto & Tire I was promptly greeted by one of the managers. He asked what brought me into Rick Johnson Auto & Tire that day. I needed an oil change but also was having problems with the power steering. There were other customers that were there already waiting for their cars so the manager gave me my options: I could wait until they could look at my car, they would take me home and would call me with what they found and would recommend etc. I chose to stay as I'm one who wants to have things explained to me face to face. The wait wasn't as long as I thought it may be. The manager sat down with me and explained what they'd found wrong with the powere steering and their recommendations on how to fix it properly. He shocked me with the price of the oil change, $17,95 for a synthetic blend oil! There's no such oil change available to me back in Indiana!! I felt that I was in very good hands and told him to proceed with it all. Am I happy? Absolutely! I have only one complaint, there are no Rick Johnson Auto & Tire stores in Indiana!!!!!!!!!!!
