Review content:
Saturday night at a Japanese restaurant in the Warehouse District? Who would have thunk it? Nami has done an excellent job of refurbishing the first floor of an old printing building. The decor is chic, the crowd is happening, and above all the food is excellent. The sushi is up there with the best in town. The broiled tuna collar is an outstanding appetizer. The standard dishes also hold their own. My only complaints are value ($7.25 for a Bombay and Tonic?) and service. Our meals arrived 10 minutes apart because ""the sushi chef was a bit behind"". Well then, why don't you wait until he catches up before serving the hot items?? If Nami can solve these issues, they will be around for a long time!
Pros: Food Quality, Menu Selection, Overall Atmosphere
Cons: Service, Not Greatest Value
