On January 18, 2011 I called Dashing Dan's Plumbing to ask for an estimate for converting my oil hot water boiler system to a National Grid gas boiler system. Dashing Dan was recommended to me by by brother-n-law who had also used them to convert their heating system to gas from oil. I received a call back from Dashing Dan the same day and they set up an appointment for the following day. After getting estimates from two other contractors, it was clear to me that Dashing Dan was by far the best choice. Their estimate was the most detailed and informative concerning all of the work that was needed to be done. Their price was the best (lowest) but was consistent with the other two estimates. Dashing Dan filed all of the paper work for the permits and inspections and immediately responded when National Grid ran the gas line to my house from the street. Their workmanship was exellent and my house was spotless when they finished. Dashing Dan recommended and installed a Energy Star Gas Fired Boiler, Energy Star Indirect Hot Water Tank and a energy saving Outdoor Temperature Reset Control. All of equipment qualified for National Grid's rebate program and saved me $740. I highly recommend Dashing Dan's Plumbing and Heating Co. They do quality work and are very reliable.
