Review content:
Signing up my 6 year old daughter at Olympian Gymnastics was the best thing I ever did for us. I love their program and they know how to deal with children! The staff treats you like family and they go out of their way to accommodate your schedule when a make-up class is needed. They found the perfect formula to combine training with fun. I was impressed when my daughter learned to do a perfect cartwheel with just 3 lessons (this is why she wanted to come here in the first place). Her confidence and self esteem is improving and even talks about participating one of the shows!) Since my daughter is old enough, I can leave for an hour (class is 1 hour and a half) and get some errands done. The extra time helps a lot. You will find 2 shopping centers just minutes away (East and West of Austin Blvd). At times, when it?s warm, we go to Oceanside Park which is nearby and have a picnic then play. This park has an outdoor pool which is great on hot days. The Barry and Florence Friedberg Jewish Community Center is also a few minutes away (you need to be a member and no, you do not need to be Jewish) and they have an indoor pool. If it's cold, we eat at a restaurant. You will find Italian, Greek, Chinese, Mexican, deli, Ruby Tuesdays, Outback, etc. I only have 2 complaints about coming to this gymnasium: 1) parking is a challenge. Just be patient and you WILL get a spot; and 2) I dislike the waiting room. You will come across some snobby parents that make it difficult for you to feel at home or ""fit-in"". You know the kind. Just ignore them, find your own click or go shop. Other than that, it?s a good environment. I need to also mention that the facility (especially bathrooms and waiting room) are always clean.
Pros: friendliness, great program, clean environment
Cons: finding a parking spot is a challenge
