Review content:
I joined CitySearch just to clarify the identity and quality of 604 W. Morgan. I live in the neighborhood (Warehouse District) and want nearby businesses to succeed if they're good and there seems to be a great deal of unfortunate confusion about this restaurant in reviews. ""604 W. Morgan, featuring Cinelli's"" IS a confusing concept. 604 is an upscale terrific Italian restaurant:; Cinelli's is an ok, casual pizza place. They share a site, but they have very different menus and when you go to one restaurant you are not aware the other one is connected unless you go out of your way to walk around a few corners and through. 604 is a lovely place, with great ambiance, wonderful waitstaff and fabulous food. The ""604 bruscetta,"" with garlicky white beans and shaved Parmesan served with broccoli rabbe is a dish I think about sometimes and crave; the pasta with wild mushrooms is earthy and satisfying; I've had lovely fresh fish; and miracle of miracles, their salads are beautifully composed and perfectly dressed, a rare event in my experience. Some reviewers mention ""Tosca."" It was the previous tenant of the space. It served Italian red sauce food that was consistently drowning in its sauce. 604 is on another plane entirely. To confuse things even more, Cinelli's used to be in the strip mall where Whole Foods is. It was a nice, unpretentious place with good pizza. How it got attached to 604 I don't know, but the quality is not as good as it was in its old home, but still ok. If you want an excellent dinner in a quiet, gracious atmosphere, 604 is a great choice.
