Review content:
Dry, tough, chewy! No sweetness to the meat! Claws were mealy. We ordered four lobsters; all were the same: Terrible. When we spoke with the ""supervisor"", she told us WE were all wrong. When we explained that no water came from any of the shells when we cracked them, nor from the the tail when removed, she argued with us. There was no attempt to correct the issue; no offer to replace our meals; no apologies. We visit the East Lyme area two or three times each year. We have eaten lobster at several other area restaurants...all were delicious! During a visit in 2010, we ordered lobster at Flanders and had a similar bad experience; but, it was off season and we thought the inventory of lobster was simply not turned often enough; so, we gave Flanders another try. However, it is now high vacation season. There is no excuse for serving lobster that tastes so bad in the state of Connecticut. I do better ordering from Lobster Gram and boiling them at home in Illinois!
